I am pretty sure this one goes faster simply by virtue of redness. The second car I ever drove was a mini. The first car I ever did a handbrake slide in, donuts, or any other general fun… was a mini. Good times. I’m pretty sure mini’s like this are the crystallised memories of car nerds from the 70s and 80s.

Eidfjord at Sunset

This was taken in the final days of our hiking trip on the Hardanger Vidda, which is a large mountain plateau in Norway famous for being large and plateau-like. Our entry and exit from the area were both via Eidfjord. Fuji Velia is proving to be a challenging film. Only a few good shots from this roll…

I had always hoped to wake up and find London hidden by fog. Despite popular fantasy, this is a rare event and I practically ran out the door to get this shot. Green Park never looked so good.

Bridge over the river Thames

This is from a series of shots I made covering some London lankmarks. This was back in December 2008 on a cool, but beautiful evening. The long exposure reduces images of people on the bridge to mere ghosts and smooths the river.

I took this one while hiking in the mountains just outside of Nice, France. Landscapes really aren’t my thing, but at least they don’t make silly faces or run for cover what technical info would you like? It’s a mountain, somewhere about 2300m altitude, and along the GR-52 hiking trail. I am thinking a print would look good in my living room.

This shot is from the same wander around the valley as the photo I posted a few days ago. The light was just all kinds of strange and kept changing with the flow of low cloud running between the mountains. We were almost done with our little tour of the area at this stage and the light was fading. No idea why the upper right corner in this shot is a bit messy but… what the hell!

I took this around sunset. It’s a part of London I often cycle past and rarely is the light so perfect. More than anything, I was captivated by the shimmering reflection of this huge empty buiding.

I visited this beautiful place for just one night, and really loved the atmosphere. Pemberton is a small town just a short drive from Whistler but a world away from the sugar-coated tourist driven madness of it. Loved Pemberton. See if you can spot the subtle peak through the veil of clouds…
